TESOL Workshop: New Teaching Methodology with TESOL Professor from Concordia University, USA

Professor Matt Meyer, coming from Concordia University, will exchange new teaching methods in teaching English with Vietnamese teachers and students in June in Hanoi.

Brings a new method of teaching English

Professor Matt Meyer is a lecturer at Concordia University, one of the top 40 regional reputation universities in the Midwestern United States listed in the US Report and World Report. He has participated in TESOL master’s programs in Concordia for more than 10 years and has had nearly 20 years in teaching English for international students. Professor Matt Meyer will share new international teaching approaches at the seminar: “Teaching strategies and how to apply science and technology effectively to teaching.” In addition, he will share with participants new models and teaching ideas about students-centered learning, active learning, collaborative learning. Besides, the role of teachers and the application of science and technology in teaching are discussed in many different aspects. The seminar is also a place for Vietnamese teachers to exchange, share difficulties in teaching and learning English with native teachers of AMVNX Academy.

At the program, AMVNX Academy offers hundreds of TESOL scholarships up to 9.5 million for Vietnamese teachers and final year students major in English who have outstanding achievements in teaching and learning field.

The workshop will be held from 8:00 to 12:00, and from 13:30 to 16:00, on Saturday, June 10th , 2017 at Daewoo Hotel, 360 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh, Hanoi (have a buffet at the hotel from 12:00 to 13:30).
